30 Days of Good News in Bixby! 

Summer has arrived in Bixby, and with it comes a wave of celebration, progress, and community connection. From birthdays to big announcements, the past 30 days have been packed with positive momentum—and we’re here for it. 

Milestones & Celebrations 

Bixby’s favorite new gathering spot, Indigo Tie Dye, just turned one! The downtown venue marked its milestone with a joyful celebration on June 7, filled with music, laughter, and plenty of community pride. In just one year, Indigo has become a staple of Bixby’s downtown vibe and a go-to destination for fun, food, and connection. 

Even bigger celebrations are right around the corner as we gear up for the 2025 Green Corn Festival, set for June 25–28. This iconic Bixby tradition will feature a carnival, parade, live music, and beloved events like the Turtle and Frog Races, Bixby’s Got Talent, and the always popular Roasting Ears corn booth. The Freedom Celebration and Fireworks is scheduled for June 27 at Bentley Park, offering a festive kickoff to the Fourth of July season. 

Innovation in Education 

Bixby Public Schools marked a huge win for students and teachers alike with the ribbon-cutting of the brand-new Applied Creativity Center. This state-of-the-art learning environment is designed to foster hands-on innovation, problem-solving, and 21st-century skills. It’s a shining example of how Bixby continues to invest in the future of our children—and our workforce. 

Business Growth & Chamber Highlights 

The Bixby Metro Chamber continues to build momentum with another successful Chamber On Tap networking event, bringing local professionals together to collaborate, support one another, and celebrate the region’s economic growth. The Chamber also kicked off the annual Buy Bixby business sign-up period, running through September 26. This initiative supports local entrepreneurs and encourages residents to shop small and shop local all summer long. 

Looking ahead, the Chamber will host its next Muffins & Membership on July 8, and planning is already underway for the always-popular Christmas in July promotion, scheduled for July 20–26.
