DESCRIPTION:This program is offered under our CDBG HUD grant and is free of cost to anyone in Tulsa County who is interested in starting or expanded a business. The classes meet one night a week for four weeks at Goodwill Industries of Tulsa on Southwest Blvd. and are taught by Isabell Estes of Encore WorkLife. This year there are two separate sessions: the first for new business entrepreneurs and the second for existing business owners. All work materials are provided by the grant. Ms. Estes assures that the attendees will come away with a solid business plan that could segue to financial help from TEDC.
