DESCRIPTION:A ROAD TO HOME\n\nBixby Outreach Center hosts capital campaign fundraiser\nBixby\, OK\, September 28\, 2013:  On October 5th\, 2013 at 6:00pm\, the Bixby Outreach Center will host An Evening Under the Stars\, the opening of their Capital Campaign.  The event\, sponsored by Jim Norton Toyota\, will be held at The Burns Arena XI and will feature the Wild Card Band\, a cash raffle\, silent and live auctions\, including a fur coat\, a guided fishing tour\, Kansas City Chiefs football tickets and much more. \n\nSince 2005 the Bixby Outreach Center has occupied two buildings in downtown Bixby.  Over the years the center has grown to serve more than 13\,000 individuals annually and has outgrown the present facilities.  In order to give a hand up to those in need\, rather than a hand out\, it takes everyone.  The Bixby Outreach Center is embarking on this capital campaign to better serve our communities. \n\n \n\n               ###\n\nThe Bixby Outreach Center (BOC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 that proudly serves Bixby\, Jenks\, Glenpool\, Kiefer\, Liberty\, Haskell and Mounds.  The BOC's mission is to provide basic needs assistance with compassion and dignity to local families.  The BOC provides basic needs of food and clothing\, as well as emergency funding\, referral assistance\, holiday assistance and much more.
